Personal Wealth!!

People perceive wealth in many different ways. In one sense, to be moneyed is to be wealthy - the more money people have, the more successful they are, and the more material possessions they have to show for it.
For many, personal wealth cannot be measured in monetary terms, but in terms of the emotional and physical well-being, they experience through satisfaction derived from their everyday lives. Riches such as strong friendships, a good family life and recognition of worth in the home, the community and/or at work, more than compensate for deficiencies in monetary wealth.

WORD- PROCESSING

WORD- PROCESSING

There are a few points to remember when thinking about setting up a word processing operation.
Decide what it is that you want your word processing system for. Do you want it for your typing workload or do you want it to cater for information retrieval, accounts processing.

Take typing stuff along with demonstrations of possible word processing systems. Your typist will usually know more about your organisation’s typing than consultants.

Find out exactly what software comes with the word processing system and at what price. Software can be expensive and may not always do exactly what you thought it would.

Sun Care

Sun care products have become so technical that most people find it difficult to unravel the facts about broad spectrums, SPFs, sunscreen standards and the like.

Of course we all know that we need protection from the sun, but what does all the jargon on a bottle of sunscreen really mean and how do you know you’ve chosen the right one?

First, we need to understand the nature of sunlight and how the sun’s rays affect the skin.  The ultraviolet rays are the ones most people know – the UVA is associated with ageing and UVB with burning.  UVB rays are the tanning rays, that reach the top layer of skin only and can cause burning and ageing.  UVA rays penetrate much deeper into the skin and may add to the burning effect of the UVB rays as well as the ageing.

GET READY FOR THE TV REVOLUTION!!

TV has changed very little over the last four decades. While we have gone from black and white to colour and the programs have become more sophisticated, the medium is still the same. A tv station broadcasts its images and our dumb receivers pick them up.

All this is about to change! A number of large companies and consortiums plan to provide the Australian public with more choice. There is a suggestion of delivering as many as 500 channels to people’s homes using an advanced fibre-optic network. The viewer will have the power to select the material he or she watches, to pause the program, slow it down or rewind it. Eventually we will be able to choose the camera angles. This will be part of the information superhighway.

Some of the services the information superhighway will provide are interactive tv, video, shopping, education services, video on demand and video telephone calls. Stay tuned!

Growing Beautiful Roses

General Information

v  Remove weeds and grasses.

v  Improve soil by digging in plenty of organic matter such as compost or manure.

v  Choose a spot that gets at least five hours of sunlight throughout the day.

v  In mid to late winter, cut plants back by one third, removing all flowers, leaves and dead stems.

Soil

Roses prefer a soil which has a good water holding capacity but is never waterlogged. A clay loam is ideal, but roses will grow in most soils. Improve light soils by digging in plenty of compost and prepare the ground by deep digging prior to planting. If drainage is a problem, try raised beds (at least 30 cm above ground level).

Feeding

Roses will grow in most soils with good results. It is often said that roses prefer clay soils. No plants like heavy clay soils, although roses will tolerate clay more than many other plants. The use of a liquid clay breaker such as Multi crop
‘Ground Breaker’ will be of benefit. Plus the addition of washed river sand, well-rotted organic matter such as composted cow manure will lighten heavy soils. Good drainage is vital. DO NOT put fresh animal manures or chemical fertilizers near the roots at planting time; these can cause severe root damage. If planting where roses have been grown previously it is vital to remove all the existing soil, say a barrow-full and replace. This will overcome a disease known as ‘rose sickness’ that can remain in the soil.

·         Feed with Yates Dynamic Lifter every 8 and 10 weeks during spring, summer and autumn.

·         Improve flowering and disease resistance by applying Yates Uplift every two weeks.

Position

Roses love lots of sun, but they will be fine with some afternoon shade. Most roses won’t do well in a very cold, windy position, but they do need good ventilation.

The Health Benefits of Drinking Water

Water is a simple and essential element for our body.
  •  The body is made up of between 55 and 75 percent water. Muscle retains more water than fat, therefore, the leaner the body, the higher the percentage of water.

  • If you are trying to lose weight, water is useful to help you feel fuller.

  • Most people who do not drink enough water on a daily basis have a reduced the ability to feel thirsty.

  • A good formula to know how much water is needed is to divide your weight in half, and figure that number  in ounces of water.

Violence Against Women

For more information click the link bellow:

According to the research it is found that violence against women begins at home in the early age. It is every where, relatives, neighbors, even family members and friends. Young girls were forced to marry in the very early age and  It made them isolated from almost whole world except their husband and family. Polygamy with strong roots was also started in the society and women lose their right of having unshared husband’s love. Female infanticide, and bride-killings are other big violence. Women are also facing lack of nutritious food, negligence to medicine and proper checkup, lack of educational opportunities, sexual abuse of girl child, rapes, forced and unwanted marriages, home or work place, unwanted pregnancies at small intervals, bride-burning, wife-battering, negligence of old women in family,

Marrying at a young age

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2699413/Boy-nine-marries-62-year-old-mother-children-triple-age-make-ancestors-happy.html#v-3687796673001

Marrying at a young age is wrong because both the male and female are not mature enough or not ready to raise a family or not ready to stay with each other forever. Marrying at a young age also can lead to divorce at an older age because the couple will raise their problems from their young age until they are fully mature and old.

Wireless charging for mobile phones

  • Wireless charging has been around for a few years now, but sadly it hasn't become as widely-adopted as we'd like. Micro USB ports start to loosen and bend over time and being able to limit that wear and tear by using wireless, but due to the fight over wireless charging standards, most phones simply go without it. And while Power mat and the various companies backing them fight it out, smartphone users are left in the cold.

  • However, many popular phones are beginning to embrace wireless charging, and if that's something you're looking for in your next phone, here's a list of those lucky devices.

  • Now, many of the phones on this list need special back plates in order to get wireless charging, but these are the phones that officially have wireless charging supported, as opposed to phones that can only achieve wireless charging through bulky cases that replace the battery or plug into the micro-USB port. Also, certain variants of these phones may use Power mat rather than, such as the AT&T variant of the LG 3G, but it does still support wireless charging.

  • The lowest poverty rates were in the three northern provinces that make up Iraq’s self-ruled Kurdistan Region: Dahouk, with 10 percent living below the poverty line, and Erbil and Sulaimaniyah with 3 percent each.

Driving Should be more Expensive and the Money used to Improve Public Transport.

In many of the world’s cities traffic is a major problem. Not only does traffic congestion because great frustration among drivers but also it in addition the environment in the city is seriously affected by exhaust emission. In spite of this situation people drive in the city f. because it is more convenient g. and less time-consuming than the alternatives. People can only be encouraged to change their driving habits by making the alternatives better.
Often people drive in the city because the public transport system is underfunded and inconvenient. Most people prefer to stay in their air-conditioned cars whereas than travel in overcrowded buses and trains. Rather when people travel in their own car they travel door to door. Furthermore when people travel by public transport they often have to change buses or trains, which adds time to their journey.
There are two ways to encourage people to stop driving in the city.
First, public transport needs to be improved. People will only leave their cars at home second the alternative is cheap and comfortable. Once, driving in the city needs to be made less convent. This can be achieved by making parking more expensive and charging a tax for travelling in the city if people feel public transport is a better choice, they will use it.
In conclusion people will continue to use their cars while it is convenient. Therefore, driving should be more expensive and the money used to improve public transport.
