Wireless charging for mobile phones

  • Wireless charging has been around for a few years now, but sadly it hasn't become as widely-adopted as we'd like. Micro USB ports start to loosen and bend over time and being able to limit that wear and tear by using wireless, but due to the fight over wireless charging standards, most phones simply go without it. And while Power mat and the various companies backing them fight it out, smartphone users are left in the cold.

  • However, many popular phones are beginning to embrace wireless charging, and if that's something you're looking for in your next phone, here's a list of those lucky devices.

  • Now, many of the phones on this list need special back plates in order to get wireless charging, but these are the phones that officially have wireless charging supported, as opposed to phones that can only achieve wireless charging through bulky cases that replace the battery or plug into the micro-USB port. Also, certain variants of these phones may use Power mat rather than, such as the AT&T variant of the LG 3G, but it does still support wireless charging.

BAGHDAD, - Some 20-25 percent of Iraq’s estimated 27 million population lives below the country’s poverty line, a government survey.

  • Though wide disparities were found between northern and southern provinces, the government said the results were better than expected.

  • “Poverty is concentrated in the Iraqi rural areas more than in the urban areas in all provinces,” said the survey, which was conducted by the Iraqi Ministry of Planning.

  • It found that the highest poverty rate was in the southern province of Muthana with 49 percent, followed by the central provinces of Babil with 41 percent and Salaheddin with 40 percent.

  • The lowest poverty rates were in the three northern provinces that make up Iraq’s self-ruled Kurdistan Region: Dahouk, with 10 percent living below the poverty line, and Erbil and Sulaimaniyah with 3 percent each.

  • The survey defines poverty as living on 76,896 Iraqi dinars (about $66) a month, or$2.2 a day.

In spite of this situation people drive in the city f. because it is more convenient g. and less time-consuming than the alternatives. Most people prefer to stay in their air-conditioned cars whereas than travel in overcrowded buses and trains. Rather when people travel in their own car they travel door to door. Furthermore when people travel by public transport they often have to change buses or trains, which adds time to their journey.

Effects of the Internet on children

The modern life has necessitated that, that children develop the ability to operate technological tools. As virtually anything is easily accessible on the net today, children are growing evermore Internet-dependent. On the other hand, as the Internet gains increasing popularity among societies, video games, chat rooms and websites are all well popular facilities these days. Naturally though, there have been concerns about whether and how the use of the Internet may leave negative effects on children life and development. Thus parents continue to wonder how and when it is appropriate for their child to using the means [1]

There are  psychological reports [2] showing that, children who use the computer too often, spend less time socializing with their families, and as a result they often undergo more stress and tension and feel lonelier and more depressed. Internet overuse also may come at the expense of other useful & indispensable activities such as doing homework or normal social interchange which is vital for human’s character growth. Besides, some studies conducted in the United States [2], have shown that children too much on the Net, can be more aggressive, stressed, and isolated  which may still lead to another serious problem called computer and Internet addiction.

Despite all of the potential problems threatening children who surf inappropriate websites and go on improper chat rooms on the Internet, there are also notable benefits with the Net. Internet sites can be used for such good purposes as teaching young children who are learning numbers and letters [2].They can help a child learn how to read, say the ABCs and even spell their names [2]. The problem arises, however when they are overused or inappropriately utilized.

Technology is an essential part of our lives and has changed the world dramatically

Today, the world has changed significantly with the aid of modern technology.  The influence of technology can be seen from the fact that it has infiltrated every aspect of daily life, from business to leisure and even society.  Inspire of the benefits that modern technology offers humans; it is uncertain whether technology has resulted in social improvement.  Advocates of technology claim that the convenience and safety of society owes a lot to technological progress.  On the contrary, new forms of danger exist as a consequence of innovative forms of technology such as obesity, laziness and a loss of personality.  Despite the debate that has risen over the present and future of technology in society, it is generally acknowledged that modern technology has played a major role in social improvement.
